Greg Lyons, the British saxophonist, composer, bandleader, and jazz mentor brings his latest project to No Black Tie in Kuala Lumpur for 2 nights of modern jazz explorations.
Black Sheep Collective is an outcome of his mentorship program Groove Works, and introduces some strong new talents that have been a part of the program in recent years.
The material to explore comes from the recent writings of some of the top global jazz composers, including Dave Holland, Pierre De Bethmann, Seamus Blake, Hermeto Pascoal, and Lyons himself.
