Captain Trips and The Kid formed by 4 friends since December 2015 that consists of Jes Ismael (Vocalist & lead guitar), Syabil Alyahya (drummer), Yaqub Zulkifli (bassist) and a guitarist.

They have been playing music together since 4 years ago (starts as early as 15 years old). A kuala lumpur based garage band with an influenced of King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizzard, Greatful Dead, Search, Pink Floyd, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala and Nick Drake.
Captain Trips and The Kid has been performing around Kuala Lumpur such as Minut Init, Gaslight Cafe, Livefact and Atasbybijanfx. With the big buzz in own turf, they have been called to play at Soundmaker Penang for their 10th year anniversary, Habit Cafe in Alor Setar and all the way to Chinahouse in Kuching,
Sarawak.

They are currently milking their creative juices on making their debut album Paraverse which will be released in 2017.
