Dani and The Nightshades

Dani is back again with The Nightshades once more, the band that she used to perform with when she first started out. This show promises originals, and jazz and blues numbers that will keep your feet tapping and leave you wanting more.

Dani started out in 2015 and has since been a regular fixture at a few of Kuala Lumpur's jazz establishments such as No Black Tie. Apart from her love for singing jazz and blues classics, she enjoys performing her own originals which puts a spin on classic jazz music. While she's been performing regularly, her unique voice and engaging originals have granted her invitations to perform at various festivals such as the IP Jazz Festival (Johor), JB International Arts Festival (Johor) and also the Publika Jazz Festival (Kuala Lumpur). Her efforts have also opened up collaborative doors for her to work with a few of Malaysia's best musicians like Dasha Logan, Michael Veerapen, Lewis Pragasam and international guitarist, Robin Banerjee, who was the late Amy Winehouse's guitarist. Lately, Dani has been working with her band mates on their first EP which will be released by year end for everyone to enjoy.
