Islands are a 5-piece band hailing from Subang Jaya. Starting out as a Dreampop/Shoegaze solo-project in 2014 by Izelan Shahier, adding in new members along the way helped to add the human element that's missing from pop music in status quo. The band is on the road to record, and release an EP of self written material to be released by the end of the year.

The band is comprised of Izelan (Vocals/Guitar) Aiman (Guitar), Jefri (Drums), Adam (Bass), and Omar (Synthesizers/Keyboards/Guitars). 

Islands music has been featured in TimeOut KL's Top 30 Local Tracks of 2017, DailySeni's Local Tracks of 2017, and are finalists in this year's edition of Vans Musicians Wanted 2018.
