“Passion & persistence will take you a long way…” A belief that has taken LK Wong thus far in his musical journey. No stranger to the ever changing local indie music scene, Wong started his beginnings as an electric guitarist in a progressive rock band. An experience that has taken him to the edge of avant garde and back. These days his music takes on a much more concise and simple approach. A multi-instrumentalist out of necessity, he has the ability to paint sounds with whatever instruments he may get his hands on. It’s in his focus to just create music rather than trying to be a virtuoso of instruments. 

In 2015, he released his first solo EP called Vulcan Sunset (self-produced) where he blends his love for synthesizers with his blues rock guitar roots. The 5 tracks straddle the line of synth-pop and jazz rock of the 70s and 80s. He currently plays keyboards in rock quartet Cats in Love, some odd instruments with SquareCircles and occasionally on guitar with Hassan Peter Brown and Markiza.
