Fresh Tuak! Sape performance!! Enough said, hahaha :)
We often don't think about the amount of time and hard work that goes into the rice in our bowls, do we? It's no wonder Gawai & Kaamatan is such an important celebration of a harvest that many of us take for granted.
The festival celebrates unity, aspiration, and hope and is celebrated by many different ethnic groups in Sabah & Sarawak.
Gaway Dayak & Kaamatan is back in full force at Havana this May. Join us on the 20th of May as we celebrate the Harvest Festival with plenty of fresh tuak, Borneo traditional dances, Borneo handicraft fair, and traditional food.
Highlight of the evening will be the Blowpipe Challenge and an amazing Sape performance
