Poets and poetry lovers, welcome to our 52nd show! We are absolutely thrilled to announce this spectacular line up.
SHIVRAM GOPINATH is a writer and spoken word performer. His poetry has been heard at the Singapore Writers Festival, Singapore Heritage Fest, Lit Up Festival, Neon Lights and more. His most recent work is Mein Shaayar to Nahin (I Am Not A Poet) - a collaborative project that combines spoken word and music from Tamil and Hindi cinema as a way of exploring the Indian experience in Singapore. He teaches poetry workshops structured around identity and community at the Haque Centre of Acting and Creativity, and is the 2015 and 2016 Singapore National Poetry Slam champion.
MUTESITE Formed in August 2014, mutesite is a collective experimenting through the cracks of instrumental music. Their composition invigorates a nuanced disposition through the ears of the beholder. The beauty of instrumental music is that there is no fixed definition. Every listener paints a different imagination to the songs, creating limitless boundaries. Their debut EP, "re:start" was released on 16 January 2016. Shortly after, their music has garnered local and international attention. There were airplays and reviews extending from Japan to the US. "re:start" is now sold in the US via Chautauqua Records. Having no lyrical interpretation, the band's performances are nothing short from stellar. They have been featured in highly recognized platforms such as The Wknd Sessions, Big A Jamz and RedBull Music.

HOW TO GET HERE?
1. Look for ENOTECA at Plaza Damansara. On the right side of the restaurant, you will see a stairwell, a Blue Light will be projected on the floor. Walk up the stairs, you will see Blue Elephant, keep walking upstairs, you will hear 60s music, you are close so keep walking up and you’ll see a huge banner saying GASLIGHT cafe. That would be the one.
