Islands are a 5-piece band hailing from Subang Jaya. Starting out as a Shoegaze/Dreampop solo-project in 2014 by Izelan Shahier, adding in new members along the way helped to add the human element that's missing from pop music in status quo. The band is on the road to record and release an EP/LP of self written material to be released by sometime next year.

The band is comprised of Izelan (Lead Singer/Guitar), Aiman (Guitar), Jefri (Drums), Adam (Bass) and Omar (Synthesizer/Keyboard/Guitar).

Islands music has been featured in TimeOut KL's Top 30 Local Tracks of 2017, DailySeni's Local Tracks of 2017, and are finalists in this year's edition of Vans Musicians Wanted 2018.

For a group of people with a fear of growing up,
simple intuitive music were made to remind themselves
and the listeners of their youthful days.

A dreampop outfit based in Cyberjaya, The band is known
for their brash/crude DIY brand of dreampop and shoegaze music.

The band was formed (March 2015) over instantaneous friendship, lonely city and heart warm feels.
Line up consisting: Ikram Hakim (vocals/synth), Zaki Aryaseno (guitar / second vocals), Asyraf Zamli (guitar / backup vocals), Aimaan Syamim (bass / backup vocals), Tazky (drums)
