Jamie Wilson studied classical guitar as a child and made his first formal appearance at the Sydney Opera House when he was just 16. By the time he was 18 he had won the MTV Australian National Guitar challenge, earning himself the title as 'Australia's Best Young Guitarist'.
He was invited to attend the prestigious G.I.T Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California where he attended seminars and workshops. Jamie joined rock legend Jimmy Barnes on his national tour, and there followed tours and performances with Australia's music royalty, guitar maestro Tommy Emmanuel, Ian Moss, Richard Clapton and many others culminating in sharing the stage with American legend and Grammy winner Steve Miller.
