Legendary and well respected guitarist Julian Mokhtar returns to No Black Tie once again. He was a lead guitarist for blues and rock group, The Blues Gang in 1980, he left in 1993 and has been performing as a solo singer and guitarist with other musicians. The man can swing it low with reggae, get roots with blue grass and just about everything in between.
In 2000, he released a self-produced and recorded solo album titled About Time. Mokhtar has appeared as a session player on albums by Amir Yussof and Karen Nunis Blackstone, with whom he also played a number of gigs with in Japan.
