Producer, performer and composer, Michael Pigneguy, returns to KL to present two dynamic shows featuring the music of his renowned group The Awakenings Ensemble. The sound of this outfit is truly global with each recorded track typically featuring artists from around the world. Friday’s show is 100% instrumental with standout musical force QSound front and centre. He’ll be interpreting the music of the group and presenting two new recordings from the group’s forthcoming album that he is featured on. Joining Michael and QSound will be Wee Lern (piano), Travis Tan (bass), Chee Seng (guitars & FX) and Scott Murphy (sax) resulting in a truly outstanding line-up. Expect big grooves, lush textures and soaring melodies!
