Peter Dickson’s exciting musical journey started in his teens, honing his skills in the jazz clubs of London, UK. Apart from being a guitar innovator, Peter is also a master concert performer. Moving to Australia in 1986, his musical career has vaulted onto the world stage, with an impressive discography bridging multiple musical disciplines and genres in his eleven recorded works. Peter’s live concert touring agenda has involved world travel and playing in concert halls in Europe, North America, Japan, Asia and Australasia.

Originating from New Zealand, Ivon Smith has been immersed in musical practice and performance most of his life. As a self-taught musician, he took up guitar at 13 and began playing in the traditional folk scene of Britain and Scotland but soon discovered the fusion music that evolved from the ‘60s and ‘70s blending jazz, rock, western classical and Indian styles. Ivon recorded his first album in 1993 with his then New Zealand-based rock, pop and fusion band Underworld, and has performed acoustic, electric rock, jazz, blues, folk and fusions of Indian, Middle Eastern and African music globally in a professional and semi-professional status. After 10 years of living in Malaysia, he continues to perform in several folk, rock, Indian and African ensembles.

Before becoming a founding member of the Malaysian Philharmonic, Mark Mazur was a Classical and New Music specialist living in Munich. He quickly became enchanted by the many percussions in Malay, Indian, Chinese, and Orang Asli culture. This led to further studies of Arabic and Afro-Cuban percussion, and most recently jazz vibraphone by way of Ethiopia, emulating Mulate Astske's Ehtiojazz. He recently created an exotic blend of percussion for an on-stage role with The National Ballet of Canada.
