Rainbow Children

Rainbow Children consists of a stellar lineup of musical talents that were brought together through their love of music of Prince, led by band leader & music director, Sharon Chong and former keyboardist, Hiran Benton. Possibly the first Prince inspired tribute band in Asia, the band is made up of lead singers Evelyn Feroza & Jude Bensing, Omar Ibrahim on drums, Keven Choo on saxophone, Dave Tebari on guitar, Khairul Anwar on trumpet and two new members that would be revealed at No Black Tie’s Valentine’s Day show, marking Rainbow Children’s return from their 1 year hiatus from performing in public in 2018.

The Rainbow Children aspires to be the best Prince-inspired tribute band by paying proper homage to his music and to continue his Purple Reign legacy. The band has performed at renowned entertainment venues in Kuala Lumpur and in 2017, performed the closing set for the 11th KK Jazz Festival and ended the year with a memorable performance at Shook! KL.

The band shares a special chemistry with each member and with that, each performance is remembered by their high energy and entertaining showmanship. Rainbow Children played to full houses and captivated audiences with their electrifying energy on stage, creating new fans of Prince while true-blue Prince finds continue to flock to every single Rainbow Children’s show to relive the Purple XPerience over & over again.
