Formed by Siberian bassist German Mamaev and Ugandan vocalist Princess Netashiva while the former was touring in Africa, Soma Jazz Band performs an eclectic mix of modern genre, typical ugandan's styles as: Chiganda, Bakisimba, Baganda, Kidandali, Soukous, Sebene,Bongo Flava, Muwogola, Ugandan gospel,Reggae, Afro jazz, World music, Fusion, jazz and electronic music.
