From loud rock’n’roll, rare rainbow fish and racial unity is born SWEETASS a fresh faced band currently making motion in the ocean of the Malaysian/International scene.
Formed in September 2017 when its members sighted the prophetic and ultra-rare Haruan Cina ( Rainbow Channa) while illegal night fishing in an undisclosed location in Damansara. The drummer Sungai and frontman Alang serve proof that thin hair doesn’t equate to thin sound and include plenty of flying arms and legs for good measure. While bassist Lan and guitarist Aki layer over and under, providing texture and groove, some would say the rainbow to Alang & Sungai’s ultra-rare trout-like fish.



THE FATALIS / // /

The Fatalis was officially birthed with its definite line-up in the middle of December 2016. They are a band that carries the flag of “garage-rock-revival”, with hints of hardcore punk elements at their core and in the background of each of its member.

It took the band two years to accumulate their personnel and identify their directions, along with deciding their preferred genre. Friends and peers in the local scene gave a helping hand in the early formation stage. Malik, Ery Hilmin (ex-Fujicolor), Meng (Decades) and Shakir all contributed during initial rehearsal and writing sessions. After they’ve managed to fit in all the puzzle pieces, they finally reached the conclusion of finalizing the band’s foundation, and the rest is history.

The band consists of Aiman Mufti (ex-Sphere) on drums a.k.a. the human metronome. Nadzmi Musa (ex-The84’s sessionist) on bass and guardian of the low-end. Faiq Aizad (ex-Project Alice) as lead-guitarist, masterminding the sweet solo licks. Spearheaded by Adib Azfar (ex-A New Fall, ex-Oh Chentaku, Decades) on rhythm guitar and handling vocal duties.

They’ve churned out 6 tracks filled with swift, aggressive riffs and bass lines packed with grooves. Drum beats and fills that will keep your pulse and heartbeat intact, complimented with high-energy, high-intensity vocals and lyrics with socio political leanings.
