This talented and versatile American-born vocalist lives and sings in Shanghai. “My desires is to share my gift to audiences around the world. Her deep, soulful voice lends itself to exceptional jazz, soul, R&B, funk and blues performances. She has worked in many musical groups and has organized her own shows.

Growing up singing with her school and church in Berkeley, California. Early on, her mother encouraged her musical pursuits. She has studied and performed with many professional musicians who recognized her talents at a young age. Under the wing of several reputable teachers, she received classical vocal training.

Ms. Mininfield was born and raised in Berkeley, California. Her formal musical training began in the fourth grade playing flute under the care and direction of Mr. Phil Hardyman. After been playing about three years (on flute), he asked her to match a piano note with her voice and from there she began her singing career and started performing with artists such as Herbert Mims, Bill Summers, musical prodigy Rodney Franklin, Sheila E, Wes Anderson, Lloyd Gregory, Jeannie Tracy, Billy 'shoes' Johnson, Hazel Payne, Tran Manh Tuan, Lewis Pragasam, Steve Thronton, Mac Chew, Mokthar Samba, Nils Landgren, Ulysses Owens, Just to name a few.

In 2014 with partner Ruby Hasio owner of the Melting Pot Shanghai started a production company called EncoreLive. The Goal of this company it to promote the foreign musician here in Shanghai. To give them a platform of concert hall performance.

Since having a strong interested in the development of young talent she has started started a “Youth Jam Session” that gives the young artists a platform for them to perform and help develop their talent.
