Tribute to Cole Porter: Amelia Ong and Wee Lern Trio

The performance is just going to be about playing beautiful songs written by the one of the greatest jazz and pop composers of the time Cole Porter.

Amelia Ong began singing and played piano at the age of 4. Her life revolved around many big jazz names such as Buby Chen, Benny Likumahua, Ireng Maulana, Yance Manusama, Idang Rasjidi, James Morrison, Joe Chindamo, Katie Noonan and more from a young age.

She has since made her mark as a young, fresh, and upcoming jazz-soul artist in Australia until she decided to move back to her homeland Indonesia in 2013. Being a jazz musician/vocalist in Indonesia definitely set her aside amongst the other singers.
She then since has performed in many International Jazz Festivals, such as Java Jazz International Festival in Jakarta and World Youth Jazz Orchestra in Malaysia.
