The Frankie Sixes is a new swing jazz band with some familiar faces from the Malaysian music scene. The unit was formed specifically with lindy hop dancers in mind, practitioners of a kind of swing dance from the late 1940s. Expect to hear the likes of Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and a lil’ bit of Sinatra thrown in for good measure.

Led by bass player, Indro Hardjodikoro, Jazz Muda Indonesia brings together young musicians from Indonesia. 13 year old Kanhaiya, from Bali, started playing the drums since the age of 3 and has since played in many concerts, even abroad in Perth, Australia with Balawans in his Batuan Ethnic band. On piano, Yongky Natanael started his career playing with the Young Boys band in Indonesia’s Got Talent and Asia’s Got Talent competition. He started playing piano at age 4 and is currently continuing his education in music at the University of Pelita Harapan.
