David Alfie Ward is a British comedian born and raised in the east end of London. He started his stand up career in a small bar in his home town, and has since gone on to play some of the biggest clubs in the U.K, Mainland Europe, USA and Australia. He has featured on TalkSPORT, Capital FM, ITV, the Metro, Fubar FM and the Ladbible in the U.K.

Shh…Diam! are a happy hard core band.

 

The Propositions! (the exclamation is silent) grouse about modern life, waxing lyrical over a trail of musical destruction stemming from life experiences and observations. No stone is left unturned as hipsters, zealots, ex-girlfriends and even the unsuspecting middle class populace are given a spotlight. 

 

Volatile is one of the most exciting new bands to emerge from the Malaysian music scene. Young, vibrant and infectiously entertaining.

Melissa Indot provides another musical landscape of popular songs with some originals thrown in for good measure. You can look forward to unique representations of familiar tracks translated through voice, piano, cello and violin including hits by Des'ree, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry and Donna Summer to name a few.

MAY 4/5: The Frankie Sixes

The Frankie Sixes is a new swing jazz band with some familiar faces from the Malaysian music scene. The unit was formed specifically with lindy hop dancers in mind, practitioners of a kind of swing dance from the late 1940s. Expect to hear the likes of Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and a lil’ bit of Sinatra thrown in for good measure.

MAY 7:  Jazz Muda Indonesia

Led by bass player, Indro Hardjodikoro, Jazz Muda Indonesia brings together young musicians from Indonesia. 13 year old Kanhaiya, from Bali, started playing the drums since the age of 3 and has since played in many concerts, even abroad in Perth, Australia with Balawans in his Batuan Ethnic band. On piano, Yongky Natanael started his career playing with the Young Boys band in Indonesia’s Got Talent and Asia’s Got Talent competition. He started playing piano at age 4 and is currently continuing his education in music at the University of Pelita Harapan.
