The Sweatbox and Art Xtreme Media's honcho DJ Biscuit features on two weekly live radio shows on Essential Clubbers Radio, a UK-based, worldwide spreading electronic music station, playing underground house and techno and everything in between representing for The Sweatbox collective, who sometimes joins her on the airwaves. In conjunction with the anniversary of Malaysia’s lockdown (Movement Control Order) The Actor's Studio's recorded-performance of multi award-winning play Unity (1918) by Kevin Kerr is now set to premiere on 18 March 2021.
Tickets are now on sale. This recorded performance of Unity tells the story of a small town in Sasketchewan, Canada as the residents confront the 1918 flu pandemic that was sweeping the planet. In 2020, 11 actors and a small crew occupied the quiet theatre of Pentas 1, klpac to tell this story of resilience and love - an examination and reflection of our lives in yet another global pandemic. Unity (1918) by Kevin Kerr aims to raise funds to #saveklpac and kicks off The Actors Studio’s 2021 season. Directed by Tung Jit Yang; Co-directed by Dawn Cheong.
